Map, sidebar tabs, and organization switching
Map View
The Dashboard centers on an interactive Google Map showing your farms (green markers) and active disaster requests (red markers). The map auto-centers on your farms. If you have no farms registered yet, the map falls back to your current location (if location sharing is enabled) or a broad view of the United States.
Tip: Your browser will prompt you to allow location sharing the first time you open the Dashboard. Allowing it helps the map center on nearby requests and farms.
- Pan and zoom to discover nearby requests and community farms
- Click any marker to see details or contact the owner
- Use "All Requests" or "All Farms" links at the top to zoom out and show everything
Sidebar Tabs
The left sidebar has three tabs:

| Yours | Your own requests, filterable by Active / Inactive / All |
| Members | Active requests from your organization members' farms |
| Nearby | Nearby active requests visible on the current view of the map (with count badge) |
Click any request to open its detail panel with farm info, responders, and actions.
Organization Switching
If you belong to multiple organizations, use the dropdown at the top of the left sidebar to switch between them. This changes which members' requests appear in the Members tab and allows owners/managers to manageme members in the sidebar.
From the sidebar you can also access:
- Members — view and manage org members (Owners/Managers can contact them via email here as well)
- Join Requests — handle pending join requests (Owners/Managers only)
- Contact Owner — reach out to the owner of the organization
